Introducing Wild Hunt Studios and Wild Hunt Festival Chronicles!
Years ago, we launched our most successful Kickstarter to date for a game called Kradia: Wild Hunt Festival. Wild Hunt Festival is a JRPG-turned-board game set in the colorful world of Kradia. In the game, up to four players are tasked with forming a party of adventurers and combining their powers to defeat a series of bosses. As a cooperative fantasy-themed boss-battle game, players must synergize their abilities and employ effective combat strategies—via the utilization of items and their characters' unique class abilities—to defeat a collection of bosses.
Each character in Wild Hunt Festival has an assigned role (or class), such as attacker, healer, defender, etc. These characters possess their own combat statistics, strengths & weaknesses, and class-specific skills that all must be leveraged throughout each battle and in conjunction with one another to overcome the game's challenging monsters.
We're now returning to the world of WHF once again with both a dedicated studio and three new games! To the former point, we have established Wild Hunt Studios, an imprint of LionWing that is self-governing and exclusively dedicated to translating and creating new content for WHF as well as managing the larger Wild Hunt brand.
To the latter point, we're bringing Wild Hunt Festival: Chronicles to Kickstarter later this month. The Chronicles campaign includes a brand-new standalone expansion, a compact mini-expansion, and a reimagined version of the original game. Inspired by JRPGs like Bravely Default, Atelier Ryza, and Final Fantasy IX, Wild Hunt Festival delivers rich storytelling, dynamic mechanics, and unforgettable adventures across Kradia. If you love class-based team combat, whimsical worldbuilding, and tactical co-op gameplay, now’s the perfect time to jump in!
